Delegate Terms & Conditions
CrisisConf2020 is committed to

CrisisConf2020 is organised by Return on Development Ltd, a UK registered company.
Delegate registrations will be made online and paid in full by credit card to guarantee registration. Once payment has been received, an email confirmation and a receipt of payment will be sent. Delegates wishing to pay by other means should contact the organisers firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss their requirements. No registration is complete until full payment has been received and delegate eligibility has been checked (clause 6 below).
All fees are advertised exclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT in the UK is 20%. The tax will be added to all registrations prior to check-out. The refund of VAT through corporate and national arrangements is a
Delegates may nominate an alternative person from their organisation to attend up to 24 hours prior to the start of the event. No extra charge will be made for the substitute person on the condition that the person can identify themselves as having the same organisation credentials as the original delegate (example – company email address). All substitutions must be received in writing to email@example.com
Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- 8 weeks or more prior to
startof event: 10% of the delegate fee
- 4 to 8 weeks prior to
startof event: 50% of the delegate fee
- 4 weeks or less prior to
startof event: 100% of the delegate fee

- Verification of Delegate Eligibility
At the time of registration, delegates select the category of their organisation and pay the associated fee. All registrations will be checked. In the event that the organisers cannot obviously identify the eligibility criteria of the delegate (example – a company email address), the registration will be challenged and the delegate asked to provide additional evidence of their entitlement to the associated fee.
- Alterations to Programme – Cancellation/Postponement of Event
- The organiser reserves the right to make alterations to the conference programme, venue and timings.
- In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be made. Liability will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the delegate.
- If the event is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the organiser cannot be held liable for
anythird-party financial commitments made by the delegate to attend the conference. For the avoidance of doubt, if the conference is cancelled the organiser will refund fees (see clause 6b) but will not be responsible for the incurredexpense with hotels, travel, loss of income or any other indirect expense incurred by the delegate.
Views expressed by speakers are their own. The organiser cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates.
- Photography & Filming
For promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the conference. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the organisers by email@example.com prior to the event.
- Data Protection
By submitting registration details, delegates agree to allow the organiser and companies associated with the conference to contact them regarding their services. Delegates who do not wish to receive such communications please email firstname.lastname@example.org. The contact details of registered delegates will be placed on the attendee list which will be passed to sponsoring companies and to all attendees for them to see who is at the conference for the purpose of networking and meetings. Delegates who do not wish to be included on this list should advise the organiser email@example.com.
It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. The organiser cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.
